Congratulazioni a lui e agli americani, che l'hanno votato con convinzione.

Io intanto per non sbagliare mi son procurato petrolio, oro, argento, materie prime e fonti rinnovabili...

sento puzza di inflazione monetaria, di bancarotte, di disoccupazione e di protezionismo becero e provinciale...

ce la caveremo senza una ennesima guerra, stavolta?

Between now and Nov 4th, the Saudi and Kuwaiti monarchs will attempt to put a lid the oil market, allowing US gasoline prices to trickle lower, and ease the anxieties of jittery swing voters who are worried about the economy. Soybean and corn prices have already plunged by 30% since early July, in sympathy with lower oil prices, and with a little bit of luck, Americans might see lower food prices before the November 4th election."

Obama non vincerà perchè è inviso agli sceicchi del petrolio.

Se invece stavolta si verificasse una specie di plebiscito inarrestabile come sembrano volerci far credere i mass-media mondiali, tutti a cantare le lodi di Obama, e incredibilmente gli americani decretassero la vittoria di Obama senza possibilità di "aggiustamenti Diebold"...

... bisognerà prepararsi per lo scenario-catastrofe. gli arabi useranno il petrolio per costringere il gendarme americano a difenderli. il dollaro tornerà a precipitare, il costo delle materie prime ci strangolerà, e oro e argento riprenderanno a correre.

La Macchina di Fine di Mondo

tra pochi giorni, il 10 Settembre, inizierà l'attività del LHC (Large Hadron Collider) ovvero il più grande e potente acceleratore di particelle del mondo, sotto al Laboratorio CERN di Ginevra.

peccato che ora come in passato, già diversi team di scienziati e ricercatori abbiano depositato degli esposti-denuncia nei confronti del CERN, per denunciare il pericolo che durante gli esperimenti possano formarsi micro-buchi neri in grado di inghiottire il pianeta dall'interno. l'ultima di queste denunce è stata depositata da uno scienziato tedesco alla Corte per i Diritti Umani di Strasburgo.

il CERN ha sempre sostenuto che questi timori sono assolutamente infondati.

c'è da chiedersi come facciano a esserne tanto sicuri, visto che il genere umano non ha mai potuto osservare un vero buco nero da vicino, né tantomeno osservarne la formazione. ma sappiamo almeno cosa siano, i buchi neri? ma sappiamo almeno con certezza cosa accadrà durante l'esperimento con LHC?

speriamo che la ricerca del bosone di Higgs e delle altre sub-particelle che si spera saltino fuori con LHC, dopo aver eluso per anni i ricercatori di tutto il mondo, e che rappresentano gli ultimi sussulti di orgoglio e disperazione di una meccanica quantistica illogica, contraria al rasoio di Occam e basata su un metodo scientifico ribaltato a testa in giù... non si concludano con uno spettacolare fuoco d'artificio cosmico!

Nota: il bosone di Higgs è la "particella che diede massa a tutte le altre particelle" durante il Big Bang. la cercano da 40 anni senza successo.

non può esistere... non c'è mai stato nessun Big Bang. chissà se stavolta 'sti testoni di scienziati vedranno la luce... nera, ovviamente... ma c'è da credere che continueranno col giochino di dire "anche stavolta l'acceleratore non era abbastanza potente!" pur di perpetuare le loro patetiche carriere...

a quanto pare, dopo aver ospitato varie conferenze sulle diverse opzioni energetiche del genere umano, tra cui la memorabile conferenza del compianto Dr. Bussard (di Trekkiana memoria, si, perchè "great minds think alike" ovvero Roddenberry capiva il genio di Bussard e viceversa...) ebbene Google ha scelto di puntare sul geotermico.

ottima scelta, specialmente il geotermico EGS scelto per rinnovare un po' la tecnica e renderla più efficiente...

continua la mia ammirazione per questa garage-company divenuta la nuova Microsoft, e che oltre ai sani principi (tipo: "don't be evil!") dimostra buon senso e soprattutto senso degli affari. Bravò!
